A little bit about me...
Caroline Michael
I’m a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist (NSTT) with Psychotherapeutic training based in Surrey.
Currently on the UKCP pathway to accreditation, I am fully qualified to help you with a wide range of issues.
I currently work with clients on a one-to-one basis, In person and online.
My Story…
I have a BA Hons in Psychology and Media from Leeds University, an MA in Fashion Photography from LCF & A Dip Cert in Hypno-psychotherapy from The National College of Hypnosis & Psychotherapy.
The early stage of my career was in the Media Industry. I was a freelance photographer and I then went on to worked for a global agency as a producer before I taking a career break to have my daughter.
Returning to work as a new mum to a fast-paced Agency environment was tough, trying to balance work and family life and constantly feeling like I wasn’t giving enough to either. I was experiencing anxiety, intrusive thoughts and post-natal depression.
I decided to find something new and inspiring to channel my energy in to, a new skill to learn with a view to creating a fulfilling and rewarding career that not only worked alongside family life but enhanced it.
My previous positive experience with hypnotherapy, overcoming anxiety issues in my mid-twenties, led me to the decision to re-train as a therapist and dedicate my professional life to helping people deal with and overcome mental health issues that are so likely to affect many of us at some point or another in our lives. This led me to study with a well renowned and UKCP accredited college, The National College of Hypnosis & Psychotherapy.
I now have over 4 years clinical experience running my private practice and I have helped many people experience positive, sustained and lasting improvement in their mental health.
I believe passionately in the potential benefits and positive impact that Hypno-psychotherapy can have for people across the board; my ultimate goal being to help you to thrive…
