Do you need help
with Stress?

Are you experiencing Stress? Do you need to create a healthy Balance in your life? … I can help with this.

Stress

Stress in itself is not necessarily harmful to our body or brain. Chronic stress however, causes an increase in Cortisol, otherwise known as ‘the stress hormone’ in the brain, and this can have lasting health implications.

If left untreated, chronic stress can kill brain cells. In severe cases, it can actually shrink the prefrontal cortex, which is the area of the brain responsible for memory and learning, leading to a loss of sociability and impaired decision-making.

Chronic stress can also have an effect on the body with an increased risk of heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure. When our body is under stress and experiencing the fight or flight response, blood flow is directed away from the digestive and reproductive systems. This may cause issues with digestion and fertility, as well as lowering the immune system and exacerbate existing health conditions.

How can Hypno-Psychotherapy help me to overcome Stress?

Hypno-psychotherapy helps overcome Stress as it allows access to the subconscious. Here we are able to locate and reconnect with internal resources, improve mindset, locate and change self-limiting core beliefs & coping mechanisms. We can organise and prioritise what is most important and valuable, identify needs and align life with an authentic purpose and self.

All of this occurs much quicker due to bypassing the conscious mind and the defences that are held there in the Trance state. By utilising Solution-focused techniques, it can empower clients and motivate them towards positive change. S.M.A.R.T. goals are created to work towards creating significant life changes; helping to find balance for a calm, confident and fulfilling future.
